Some more by Loren Kulesus

You all remember the skateboard right? Well if you search Loren Kulesus, you will be able to find it.
I saw this and thought some of you might be interested in it. I would love to see someone play this on stage. Nice design but I'll be suprised if it sounds any good or even if it's actually playable....

Melanie Fiona - "Kanye West's Heartless" Cover

I only recently heard this artist. I heard her song with Talib Kweli and thought she was pretty guuurd. But then I saw this video on the KanyeUniverseCity.com Blog. I reluctantly clicked on it but totally don't regret it. She covers this song so beautifully and completely owns it....anyhooo...less reading...more listening...here it is.....

Chanel Fiole....no it's not a perfume actually

Chanel are designing cars???? WHAT????

"Jinyoung Jo is a car designer at Hong-ik University in South Korea, and this is her creation: the Chanel Fiole concept. As with classic Coco Chanel work, the design of the car was centered on simplicity of design.">

'God in Me' by Mary Mary

I was so good to see Fonzworth Bentley and Kanye West in this video.

The SchwimmHausBoot: Nice House...Rubbish Location.

I think SchwimmHausBoot stands for "Floating Boat House", which is pretty much what it is. The choice of location is interesting aye?.
I think architecture is something I should get into because, when looking at this house and the concept, designs from a similar concept spring into mind. It reminds me of the phrase "diamond in the rough", you know, nice house found in a crappy location. This seems like an early preparation for Global Warming (rememeber my last post about Global Warming?).
Nice idea. I give the design a 6/10. I think that contemporary design is fairly contrasting to it's location but it could be made more contrasting by using brighter colours. I do like the grass roof though.

The Wisdom Tree Bookshelf

I'm not a reader but nevertheless I would love this in my house. I think that, with this in my house, it would inspire me to buy books so that I'd be putting the shelf to good use, which would hopefully inspire me to read...hmm...not sure that's the right priority order but oh well.

Jordi:
"The WisdomTree is for people who
see books as a source of knowledge and emotions
and not simply as decorative objects.
Its fluid and organic shape is inspired
by growth of a plant.
The books that represent the fruit of knowledge
are supported by pieces covered in leather"

Alexander McQueen

I'm really into my fashion and I'll be posting more fashion related topics in the future. I was quite intrigued when I stumbled across this by Alexander McQueen. I love this guy. Some of his clothes are a bit rubbish (not my cup of tea) but most of them I love. You'll defo hear me talk about him in the future. In the meantime, check out this what I found recently

"Earth Day is over, but loving the planet is not - and Alexander McQueen is on the case. The iconic designer just paired with the HOME project to support their film, created to raise environmental awareness and inspire people to explore the outdoors.

His commitment to the project? One of his famous skull scarves, with a twist: this one features a single skull, cleverly morphed from an image of the Earth.

You can buy the scarves this June in McQueen boutiques and online, with profits going to the nonprofit organization Good Planet. Alas, they will not be available at Target, too."

Glowing Furniture

I saw this and found it pretty cool and see myself getting these at some point in the future....seriously though...what's cooler than Glow-in-the-dark furniture. Another thing I like about this creation is how it's also created from recycled materials.
I'm not sure who made these, I just know that they're inflatable, glowing-in-the-dark furniture made from recycled materials.

Kanye West - Amazing

This video really is amazing. I love the switch between standard view, and wide screen (I cant remember the technical terms). I love the saturated look about this video. To be honest, I don't hate Young Jeezy but I do in this song; I don't think his verse really fit. I quite like this song. I'm pretty disgusted that the woman's face isn't shown, pretty much, only her breasts are. Once again I find it degrading, only putting her identity in her breasts.
Nevertheless...good song. Well done once again Yeezy

I have decided

With creative input from the legendary Owen Crane (role model and inspiration to I), I have decided I am no longer going to use this blog to communicate the tripe that consumes my day-to-day life. By that (and what Owen was trying to say) I mean, this blog will be of more depth and subjects that are more likely to provoke thought and intrege you the reader/vewer.

Consistantly look forward to tomorrow!

Running In Heels

A new love of mine. I don't watch it religiously, I'll be honest, I don't even know when it comes on TV, but nevertheless, I quite love this show (deliberate incorrect grammar). You can only consider it pure joy, a straight person watching some sort of fashion television.
It's amazing how these reality TV shows bring out the b**** in people. This program (like the advert says) is about 3 interns hoping to work for Marie Claire magazine. Each week, these interns are set challenges regarding the magazine. It's pretty much like the movie Devil Wears Prada. The difference is, the interns of running in heeels get the chance to design a page in the magazine, attend photoshoots and catwalks, meet designers etc. They also get set basic challenges like putting up rails which as simple as it sounds, they struggle to do. The shows magnifies the fast life of what it takes to produce a fashion magazine.
I could go on but alls I'm gonna say is...watch it....
(p.s. Talita is hot)

OverRated and Better-Get-Rated!

Susan Boyle

If you didn't see her on BGT then here is the video

Okay...I was late with this one, my sister told me bout this and I watched this on youtube. I was told that she was some hugly wumann (purposely spelt like that) who wowed the judges with her unexpected voice on Britains Got Talent. So with this in mind, I watched the video, and she was exactly what I expect. She was a 6/10 singer for about 10 seconds, and then after that...BORING! I'd heared enough. Since watching this video on friday. I've seen her everywhere. All over the news and youtube and facebook. Okay, so she wasn't what we expected. I don't know if you noticed but a girl in the audience pulled a face when Susan mentioned she wanted to be a pro singer. Her face maybe doesn't didn't match her voice, but she is still overrated. I heard somewhere that she's never been kissed...well, her actions speak for themselves but who are we to judge...dont get me started...maybe I'll rant about that another day.

Anyhoooo.

Shaheen Jafargholi

If you haven't seen this kid yet...here is the video

Okay, so this kid is like...12 or suttin. He begins by singing a popular song which did no justice for his voice and made him sound average, not displaying his full potential. Simon stop him (which makes me think it was setup in some way...like...perhaps he's not your average joe 12 year old with an exeedingly above average voice and perhaps he's a midget 25 year old who's been trained all his life by Simon's "people"), and tell's him to sing a better song (as you saw). Then the kid blows everyone away in the audience and in my opinion, blows Susan Boyle out the water. I just hope this kid hits the headlines like Susan. This kid isn't as old and he's better. If he sticks at, get's around the right people, doesn't just sing ballads, doesn't sing michael jackson all the time, doesn't compare himself to michael, makes himself diverse....he'll go far!

A Personal Note!!

It's rare I do this but I thought I would. It's my blog and I can do what I want.
You may me thinking, what's this got to do with being inspired. Well, after reading the sense-b-and-sensibility blog, I decided I would do this.

This personal note is to basically say...erm...well...I think I'm gonna do more personal notes. I think it keeps you in touch with the writer of this blog...MOI!!! Somewhat like the "reflect" post that I did...remember that? If not...go check it out.
I've had some good feedback from that and some good feedback in general.

Anyhooo...spread the hype people, subscribe, read regularly...take care!

Peace!

Hustler's Anthem - Busta Rhymez ft T-Pain

I love how Busta took this video back to the "Woo Ha" days!

Derek Kettela

I always feel the need to explain myself and justify the reason I've posted pictures of half naked females on my blog....so here is my excuse:

Observatory building

Hmmm...what is it about this Observatory building in Athens, Greece??? Something about it just "stands out" to me.

Well done Theofanis Bobotis Architects

Spring Lake house by James D. LaRue

I told myself I would never post houses again because I was seeing soooo many nice houses but...THIS....is inspiring. I really don't see how a person who lives here could possibly run out of creative ideas. I dont think writers block is a possibility in this house. However, the words "Dont judge a book by it's cover" spring to mind. I think James D. LaRue should have worked with an interior designer on this Austin, Texas contemporary mansion.
I still take my hat off James.
