I wanted to post this guy's artwork a while ago but for some reason...I never did :s
The artist/photographer/web designer is an established award winner whom has designed numerous album covers for hand full of bands (that I've never heard of). All the stats and jargon aside, this guy truly is an inspiration. He's one of those guys who, when you you look at his works, you can't help but re-assess your own life. You look at his designs and think "I must be going wrong somewhere". When analysing his work, I figured that even if you stripped away the photo-manipulation, I'm confident that his pictures will be amazing on their own. Jaroslaw takes what he does to another level. He's an inspiration!
I was gonna stop posting Architecture like this because I was starting to get board. I was seeing a LOT of amazing houses but they were getting a little bit same old same old. Each one was unique but I still felt like I'd seen them all...that was until Forte, Gimenes & Marcondes Ferraz pulled this one out the bag.
This house reminds me of the word "Optimism". To me, this house looks like someone has taken the framework of a building. It's as if that framework was put up but the project was abandoned, so over time, the frame had weathered and gone rusty....then...along came Forte, Gimenes & Marcondes Ferraz, and made something of it. Some of my highlight of this house is, on some parts of the exteria, it reminds me of a dock with no water. Also I like the rock made into steps, with wooden steps following. Plus, I love the grass path that runs over the top of the the single story work of genius. Well done!
So yeh...after posting the Future Kicks post, all's I've been thinking bout is the Mcflys and about getting a pair of Mcflys. So I went back on my blog and basked in the kicks all over again! But even when I first posted that topic, I could see that something just wasn't right init. The Mcfly's in the movie (Back to the future II) compared to the ones below, looked so much FRESHER!!!! Just thinking about them get's me hype.
So I looked at the pictures...I observed the pictures...I looked at them real carefully, and I spotted all the faults. For the purpose of this post, I'll call the imitations iMcflys and the one's from the movie, mMcflys. The mMcflys have a more rounded off tip and the slope where the laces are, leading from the toe tip to the top of the tongue, is more obtuse and straight. Where as the iMcfly's toe point is more pointy and the the slope where the laces are, leading from the toe point to the top of the tongue, is more acute from the toe tip, and then curves to a more obtuse angle to the top of the tongue (I suppose they may look a lil different on your foot though). Also, the mMcflys have some sort of dimples at the sides of the laces, where are the iMcflys don't. I also noticed that the back of the straps on the mMcflys have lips (a bold rim along the circumference) where as the iMcfly is just flat. Plus, on the mMcflys the Nike tick is more stumpy and the iMcflys are more skinny.... I could go on with the endless faults where someone has lacked attention to detail on the iMcflys, which are ALL subject to the freshness of the mMcfly. Whoever made them for the movie is a flippin FRESHNESS GENIUS!!!
I'm searching everything for some authentic ones...it's either, the real deal OR NOTHING AT ALL!!!!
Some amazing artwork by Vhils. The site where I found these piks didn't tell me nothing about Vhils so I did a little research myself. Apparently Vhils is a Portuguese street artist who's real name is Alexandre Farto born 1987.
"He gained prominence when his work of a face carved into a wall appeared alongside a picture by street artist Banksy at the Cans Festival in London in 2008".
I thought I would merge two post's together and save myself about...10 seconds haha!!!
So...like I usually do, I'm browsing the internet and I come across some rendered trainer designs which I thought looks pretty fresh. The caption underneath said:
"Sigg Jones is an upcoming 3D animation movie produced by three French film students. Their love for sneakers takes up an important role in the movie, with the main character getting super powers via his Magic Dunk. After the Marty McFly shoe, the Magic Dunk might be the next one that people will ask to be put into production. Only time will tell. SneakerFreaker talked to the three animators of the movie."
I remembered seeing the Marty Mcfly release a while ago but didn't bother posting them on here...Until now.
So here are the Sigg Jones kicks... They look pretty fresh still and I would look for them to make a pair.
So yeh, I decided to reflect on the Marty Mcfly's and I came across a vid too.
Man, I would be SO hype if they actually did the whole "power laces" thing...you have to admit, they is pretty fresh?! I started to notice something about the video though. I remember buy the whole Graduation album and thinking how the car on the album sleeve looked like the one from this vid...and then Kanye went and release this video to go with Track #1 on the album, "Good Morning"
They're so similar so the Air Yeezys init. I'd rather have the Mcfly's than the Yeezys. I'ma defo get a pair of these...not the glow in the dark ones, the light up ones if poss....FRESHNESS!!!
I can't stand Mr.Hudson...I'm not too big a fan of this song, but when it builds towards the end, it's pretty hype. I like the way the video had been shot, and the effects used to turn Mr.Hudson and Kanye into Supernova's. I don't know why I'm posting this but something inside told me to...so...here it is!
