Would you believe (which such a post as this) I'm trying to choose my blogs carefully. It's easy to update my blog is any old tripe/spam that looks cool, and call it "inspiration". And with the lack of feedback, it's hard to tell if anybody is actually reading my blogs, and I don't know what post are affective, and what post's are not (my twitter fam are more like frienemies)...fact of the matter is...you can all KISS MY GLASS!!! (see what I did there).
This post is sheerly to challenge your perspective. It's pretty bait that the people who composed this advert for Glassing are clearly thinking outside the box with this one. I have my presumptions as to how they came up with this idea but I'll leave it to your imaginations too...perhaps trying to think along the same wavelengths will perhaps inspire you to do something too.

The Capsule Collection from Deadgood
It's interesting how I find that there is something bright and colourful about light grey. It's such a contemporary shade don'cha think. Which is why I find that the colourful buttons creating the pleats/dimples (or whatever you want to call it) don't clash at all. They remind me of doe or donuts. It looks like someone stuck their thumb in a ball of doe to create a mold for someone to sit in. Whatever, they're lush! Love 'em.
Xmas Declarations by Ctrl.Alt.Shift
Read the title carefuuly. They're not very christmasy (obv) but I think that's the whole point.
I think it's cool that designer are thinking about the people who might not be home for christmas. Here's what Ctrl.Alt.Shift had to say:
‘A Dead Thoughtful Product’
Chestnuts are roasting and the halls are decked, oh ‘tis the season to be jolly… Unless, perhaps, you are one of the millions who exist silently in an often forgotten reality.
In a bid to encourage people to think beyond tinsel and Christmas cake, youth initiative Ctrl.Alt.Shift has developed a unique seasonal tree decoration: delicate glass baubles which are actually replica hand grenades.
Designed by Dorothy for Ctrl.Alt.Shift in association with Suck UK, the’Xmas Declarations’ will add sparkle to any branch, whilst offering a reminder that the time of year does not bring cheer to all.
Ctrl.Alt.Shift is an experimental initiative politicising a new generation of activists for social justice and global change. Using creativity, photography, film, stories, illustrations and music, it aims to give a voice to the silent majority.

Roland Semprie
I found this on yet another foreign website so I don't know the basis behind it. I just find it entertaining that someone has invented a T-shirt that lets you monitor your workout, by the sweat on your torso. I think it's pretty pointless but leaves room for elaboration (for your designers out there).

Strangers in a strange land by Rob Sheridan
If you go on his website ( rob-sheridan.com), it tells you what camera he's used for that shoot...I'm a lil bit jealous of the camera he used for this one :(
I think I'm gonna have to have a go at something like this. I'm surprised I haven't done so already. I love small and miniature creations...I love photography....I'm surprised I haven't combined the two :S

Sottoman Stool/Side-Table by Courtney Clarke
Simples! A stool that's also a side-table. It's space saving! I was gonna say "it sucks it you want to sit at the table", but I suppose you wouldn't want to sit at a side-table aye.
Fly Art!!!
This is pretty creepy (not sure how old this post it). Despite it being a bit cringey that they've used dead flies, I still love how well these photo's work.
You gotta love it! (apologies for not knowing who it's by)

The Krink Mini
It's been a while since I've posted something so I thought I would post have a quick browse of the net and post something (just so you don't feel neglected).
I love how simply this concept is but it looks so good! It's a bit dated and I don't know who it's by but its the best I can be bothered to do.

Bruno Dayan
These photo's remind me of my favourite photographer Jacqueline Rivera. I love the whole retouched overlays.
Aurora Borealis
These photo's were done by the people in the pictures, they took photo's of each other. All the retouching was done by the girl (whoever she is)...what matters is...these photo's are beautiful!
